Did you know that a high percentage of females in a college's engineering school is considered to be 30%?

        That's crazy. Good percentages are higher, and an ideal percentage would be at least 50%. There just simply aren't enough females in engineering, don't you think?

        As you read through each tab of engineering fields, be sure to check out who the Featured Females are, and what things they've done to advance our world. You'll find that females are key to how our lives run today, and without them engineering, we wouldn't have a lot of the resources and technology we do now.

        Enginette strives to empower females already in engineering, and encourage others to find something within engineering that appeals to them. Engineering is such a versatile area of study, with a place for everyone to contribute. Females think differently than males, and we should celebrate that difference. Everyone can bring something different to the table, and when there are more ideas and viewpoints, there are more solutions. There truly are no limits to what can be achieved.

         So take a look around the site, take our quiz, and find what suits you, or just gain some knowledge over the vast arena of engineering.
